Heal by tom odell is a soft, delicate song that shows its meaning and its worth through the way it is sung, rather than what is sung. The lyrics are simplistic- there is not much to them- but his tone, his emphisis on words, shows it all. I feel like I can feel his pain, his hurt, through his voice. I chose Heal because my book spine poem is about hardships, pain, self worth, and most importantly, overcoming it.
