Making Mellifluous
seasons of love
"In daylights, in sunsets
In midnights, in cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife
In five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure a year in the life?"
-rent
Time is free,
but it's priceless.
You can't own it,
but you can use it.
You can't keep it,
but you can spend it.
Once you've lost it
you can never get it back.
-Harvey Mackay
Our existance is measured by time
seconds
minutes
hours
days
years
it does not
slow down
speed up
stop
it forces us forward
to move on
continuing our everyday lives
even when we don't want to
the past
the present
the future
are all familiar with the concept of time
are we?
24 hours
1,440 minutes
86,400 seconds
in one day
Do we recognize this quick passing of time?
The clock keeps on ticking
it never falters nor breaks
So what will you do with your time?
