The ride will be challenging.
Will you be prepared?
Can you be?
"I'm fallin' so I'm taking my time on my ride."
Welcome to my Ride
ONE MONTH OF MY LIFE
ONE SECOND AT A TIME
I was inspired to create my own one-second video after I watched one in English class. I thought that it was a really good way to capture a lot of memories in a short amount of time. Honestly, I think that this specific piece really opened my eyes. It's amazing how much you think "oh, I should record this. This is cool/funny/scary"- whatever it may be. I really thought a lot about what is special to me when I decided what to record. Some days, I wanted to record a bunch of things because it was such an eventful day, but on other days, I didn't have a clue what to record. I would recommend this project to absolutely everyone. This is such an eye opening experience, and I'm so happy I decided to do it. I thought a picture captured a thousand words, but these videos (even one-second videos) capture even more.
My nonet poem holds much deeper meaning than just riding a bike. It becomes easy to get discouraged or go another route when faced with a difficult challenge. Sometimes the only way to keep moving forward is to remind yourself of where you are going, why you are going there, and how far you've come to get to the place you are today. It's too easy to take the easy road home. Make the climb.
Ride- Twenty-One Pilots
A mountain rests in the horizon
covered by fog, it tries to hide
pedaling becomes harder
my bike inches forward
balance unsteady
the climb, too hard
but the view
too pretty
